Staff Profiles
Annalee Veach, Woman in Charge
has over 20 years of experience in gardening and has been with Blossoms for the last four years. She manages the selection of all of Blossoms plants, shrubs, trees and soils. She is also in charge of managing employees. Despite her many responsibilities running Blossoms, she makes time helping customers with their many important questions.
Carl Concha, Tree Whisperer
is a member of the Taos Pueblo. Carl has been working at Blossoms for almost a decade and is extremely in tune with plants and trees. He says they speak to him even when he is far away. Carl's grandfather, also a member of Taos Pueblo, taught him how to relax and communicate with plants at an early age. His grandfather and he cultivated and irrigated acres of land filled with corn. Carl can feel when plants are unhealthy or thirsty and has acquired the ability to help heal them. Carl also teaches kids at the Taos Pueblo Day School about growing vegetables. He feels it is important that the children learn that vegetables don't come from grocery stores, but are grown from the earth with care.
Peter Sturges, Grows Dinner
is a life time gardener. From onions to orchids, Peter can answer your tough questions with the knowledge of years of experience. He has been working at Blossoms for three years and continues to learn new things here everyday.
