Growing Locally

Early March is a great time to...

CLEAN UP YOUR PLANTING SPOT!

March is here and we all know what that means. It's almost time to start planting in our beautiful gardens!

Now is a great time to start cleaning up your planting spot. Make sure there are no weeds or potentially harmful plants or items laying around the area.

It's not quite time to start working the soil. There is still wetness on the floor and March brings about unexpected frosting. In order to ensure the best health for your soil, leave the tilling for mid-March.

Beautiful gardens can be created even in the smallest of places.

Let Blossoms Organic Garden Center help you make it happen.

Happy Planting to all!

"The nonprofit National Gardening Association just produced a study that found that the average family with a vegetable garden spends just $70 a year on it and grows an estimated $600 worth of vegetables."
